The written word has always exerted a potent influence upon the conduct and character of readers. Teenagers, especially, are becoming increasingly aware of the power of the press. Here, at Q. R. A., our school publication, the Rosarian, is one of the central student activities. Responsibility for the newspaper is entirely en- trusted to the junior Class. The editor-in-chief, joyce Schrepfer, and her assistants are chosen by the moderator, Sister Mary Mark, O.P. They are ex- pected to exhibit a particular talent for writing, as well as initiative and exemplary Catholic conduct. The pages of our school quarterly are replete with humor, pathos, and inspirational editorials. Progress is an ever important factor in journalism. Consequently, our progress is indicated by a fuller knowledge ot' truth, evident in our present Catholic school publications. Viewing the new school camera are: fl-rj Ann Thibideau, Sharon Inman, Louise Holley, Dolores Hilliard and Pam Prime.
