And now, my dear Son, if you desire that God should bless your apostolate and make it fruitful, under- take everything for His glory, saturate yourself and your devoted fellow-workers with the spirit of jesus Christ . . . These words of Pope Pius X in 1908 to Bishop Cloutier are most significant to us, the Graduates of 1958, for they make us better realize our responsibility to you, our beloved Shepherd, Bishop Kellenberg, as your devoted fellow-workers in our ever-growing Diocese of Rockville Centre. As our Episcopal Leader you have inspired, guided and assured us of your paternal solicitude. Your personal magnanimity, your sacerdotal excellence and your outstanding qualities of leadership have won for you the approbation of our Holy Father. In recognition of this great honor, we dedicate our 1958 THE REGINA to you, as a lasting mark of our respect and filial affection for you. Moreover, we feel a special affection for you because the motto on your escutcheon reflects our own ideals- Regina Verte Lumina' '... Queen, guide me by thy light . . . Certainly this has been our motto also, during our four years at Queen of the Rosary Academy. Thus, it is fitting, on the year of the 30th anniversary of your ordination, to welcome you Most Reverend Walter P. Kellenberg, through the pages of the 1958 Regina. May God bless our new Shepherd and his flock with never- ending Progress on the road to Heaven!
