Peanuts and popcorn were distributed to the spectators by the vendors. The show opened with the all-time favorite song of the circus Come to the Circus. Then the Ringmaster, John 0,Neil, welcomed all to the show and intro- duced the acts in a humorous way. Clowns lead by Lorranie Matthews, an acrobat, Music Makers, and Sh! Boom by the Roustabouts were all seen in the first ring during the show. Kiddie Kapers, Circus Menageries, the Circus Band, Trained Seals, and the Big Top Trio all were seen as well as heard in the outer rings. The side show with colorful costumes included every type. There were: the Bearded Lady, Atlas McFadden lthe world's strongest man, and 'trainerl dancing gypsies who came from North Arlington, Belleville and Harrison and Mr. and Mrs. Thin Man. In the main ring, were a tight rope walker without a t' ht ' ' lg rope, men on the flying trapeze without the trapeze and Joey, the Midget. The show came to an end with the chorus T R h R h a a a Boom De Ay and then commendation was given by Monsignor on the enjoyable per- formance. C n op omores who took part in this show and helped to make it a wonderful success. Because of the impossibility to mention all the names of all the per- formers this is a little tribute to the Greatest Show On Earth. ongratulations were extended to all the Freshmen a d S h B Hes.
