Miss Neway, Joan Verrier, gave us a few different ideas on school teachers while her students Barbara Bernadino, Dolores Carey, Frank Nash, Edward Venditti and Charles De- Luca, demonstrated the correct way in which lessons should be done. This amusing pantomime, narrated by Rosemary Lamprecht, held the audience from beginning to end. Czlfefcame fa fgflesimen 1 Q 2 Between the.pantomime and the One-Act Play the senior girls impersonated Indian Squaws and sang A Uni much to everyoneis delight. Then came the play Thanks Awfully. It was the story of a sister of a famous painter who forces him by pleading, shouting, and tears to attend her bridge club meeting to meet the girls. Dick, the brother, played by David Burke, in order to make it more interesting, decides to make a bet with his sister Dot fMary Jane Pierzl. The bet was that he is to say only Thanks Awfully all evening. The predicaments this bet got him into all night was the plot of the play. The audience by their applause indicated that the skit was well enjoyed. The very beautiful Tableau of Our Blessed Mother brought the assembly to a close to the strains of the Ave Maria. - Dolores Cosgrove' . lm. isis Fra11C'3S e,nadin0 Geolog and Barbara B med for the Cilfeya Prep doubtedly' camfagvjj work.
