New 'flersrg When our pastor requested Archbishop Boland to preside and speak at our Commencement, he had very little hope that his invitation could be accepted, because His Excellency had so many important functions to attend in his new duties as Archbishop of Newark. But the favorable answer came that, though the Archbishop had an appointment for the .wenty-first of june, he would make it his business to be were for our Commencement in the evening. When our pastor nnounced this to us we were very happy indeed. I am sure hat no parish in his Archdiocese can outdo Queen of Peace n its loyalty to Archbishop Boland. May the sincere prayers of this, our Class of '53, added to those of the other students of our school and of our parishioners and friends, ascend to to the throne of Almighty God in petition that Archbishop Thomas A. Boland may have many, many long years before him as the efficient and zealous Archbishop of Newark, and may we at Queen of Peace have many occasions in the future to welcome him here and to express our alifection and love for him.
