The team breezed through the first 5 games without too much trouble, but then they were dump- ed by Chestertown High. With the return of D. The C.H.S. soccer team, under the excellent coaching of Mr. Manley,completed one of the most successful seasons in a number of years. They won seven and tied one. They were held to a tie by a stubborn Rock Hall eleven. Don Miller was our high scorerwith eleven goals. Mr. Manley praised the work of all and look- ed forward to another successful season. Miss Barbara Rogers was the teams coach and Martha Shawn was captain of the team. The team played eight games, winning two and losing six. They got off to a very slow start, dropping their first 4 games. The remain- ing scores were unavailable at press time. Even though the girls lost their first 4 games, they had high hopes of winning the rest of their games.
