WYE PLANTATION Breeders of Pure Aberdeen Angus Beef Cattle For 5000 years, it has been said of conquerors and cows that the fate of the white race is indissolubly linked with that of their cattle. They cannot survive without dairy products. Dr. C. E. Thorne, of the Ohio Experimental Station has said, While it is true that meat is an ex- travagantly wasteful food, viewed solely from the economic standpoint, yet it is also true that the ruling peoples of the earth are the meat eaters, and the time is probably far in the future when in this country meat will be banished from the tables of any but the improvident, even though further advance in its cost should take place. The outlook, therefore, is that for a long time to come, the farmer who possesses the ability to handle livestock successfully will find ample opportunity for the exercise of his talents, and ample reward for the larger ability which such exercise involves. At Wye Plantation, it has now become a notable fact that our Angus bulls are shipped from coast to coast and literally to the so-called, four corners. Our customers find there is a big difference in the big, black, early-maturing calves sired by Scotch-bred Wye Plantation bulls. lt's a difference they can feel in their bank account, a feeling everyone likes.
