Certainly the modern comprehensive secondary school offers a variety of lessons, some of which cannot be found on the program of studies. Two of the most important lessons fall into this unlisted category, though they may well be the most important of all. How much We have learned in the past and how Well we fit into the future Will be in proportion to how thor- oughly We have learned the lessons entitled Self-Discipline and Re- spect for Others . P I! The Sophomore year was one of adjustmentg Queen Anne and Magnolia groups mixed and developed friendships. In this year, One B. P. CBefore Portablesj, we enjoyed Sadie Hawkins Day and hid from the Derby Patrol on T-Day. We witnessed Bob Hawkins' fifty points . . . laughed at Joel Farley's skits . . . burst with school spirit. As well-oriented Juniors, we found even more op- portunity to participate in school government and activities. The Class of '61 sponsored China Lights in November and the Junior Dessert Dance in the spring. We went to see A'Brigadoon and TV Kap- ers. When we returned to Queen Anne in the fall of '60, We recognized many changes in our behavior. We could now enter the Activity Room with confidence, we found many teachers now considered us adults. We were Seniors at last! Under the guidance of Mrs. Paul, our class sponsored two fund-raising movies in the fall. A very successful Senior Dance was held on November 23 at the West Queen Anne Fieldhouse. Our parents had a great time at their dance on March 18. Finally it was spring, and we enjoyed the Senior Assembly, Luncheon, Commencement, and the Prom. In our many years at Queen Anne we gained a great deal of knowledge and became more mature. We made many friends among both faculty and students. Look- ing back, we realize that our years at Queen Anne have been rewarding, and we will always remember them with nostalgia. - Bob Ostling J ogie Gasparovich Vice-President Jan Jacobson Secretary Jan G2-lt Mrs. Paul Janet Youngren Treasurer A dvisor Treasurer TOP TEN SE IOR MARY MIKE GREEN DELBERT MILLER Commencement Speaker commencement Speaker CORRINE ANDERSON KATHY MCCARYY ALLAN Kozu JEFF PICKARD BOB PRINS JOAN RAPHAEL MARGARET TANNER PRISCILLA WHITE I .AXNX - . xx ,!,f!,f , .'- ,.l 1 ' n QB 1 ff, A 5:4 JEFF PICKARD ' MARY MIKE GREEN HO UR we yoga 3 4 Corinne Anderson Dellaine Anderson Chuck Auld Michael Ayers Mary Bates Annice Burns ' ff! sei if :- V i- '3S, i-, ,: i 9,3 9 5 as' N. eff f I X V 1 X Patty Doyle we Julie Breitsteine Sandy Brooks Galen Burghardt -.
