DEDICATION i i EAR MR. TAYLOR: After this trying year, the very least we can do is to dedicate the 1950 annual to you. This year has been one during which you were Con- stantly taking pictures, developing prints, recording coupons, collecting coupon money, buying glue, and making grave decisions Whenever We might corner you. Seriously, We appreciate greatly your photographic Work, and also the fact that you never imposed your ideas upon us and were genuinely interested in our plans. Thank you for being such a Wonderful annual advisor. THE ANNUAL STAFF.

FOREWGRD i ':::'i EAVE HO! . . . Heave and pawl! . . . Yo, heave, hearty, ho! 2 All aboard as the good ship H. M. s. Grizzly sails oo its forty- ? 2 first course to uncover fabulous treasures that will forever l --Q------l remain in the hearts of its loyal crew. As you landlubbers browse through this illustrious chronicle of her voyage and reminisce with the glorious achievements that unfurl on the ensuing pages, remember that for many of the ship's most trustworthy and capable mates this is the last time that their names will go down in the log. But for decades after the final roll call has been answered and the certificates of able-bodied seamen have been presented, they will cast a nostalgic eye over these time-worn pages recounting the laudations and honor won by them for Her Majesty, Queen Anne. Other ships and more dazzling fortunes are beckoning to those who must entrust their beloved bark to the eager hands of the yoemen that succeed them. Though they descend the gangplank, wave farewell, and head for distant ports, the good ship Grizzly will forever be a part of them in the coming years when she uncovers new, untold glory. JIM WILHELM.
