E Illll 1943: Behold! Father Time threw wide the portals of Queen Anne to the onrushing feet of freshmen. The ups and downs of the year almost smothered these grade school refugees but many have started on the upper road to success. Time only has the answer to my worries over this impetuous bunch. CTime passesj 1944: Quick, Father Time! Duck! Here comes the new sopho- mores. Thoroughly saturated with the experiences and memories of their freshmen year they are ready to expand. Shirley Abbott, Bonnie Lou Christensen, Bill Cheney, Ginny Hay, and many others Kapered upward: I see more and better successes for them in the next two years. The athletes and leaders are beginning to show their talents and abilities, too. The Class of 19416 has really begun to rear its head as a potential force. QTime passesb 1945: September saw the newly dignified juniors making new acquaintances and renewing old ones. As a class they are reaching fafaliead on the milf success and This year the carefnf many hopefuls received an added boost. Outstanding dramatists are Charlotte Bieck, Lynn Gaston, Patty Hutchison, Clark Stewart, and Bobbie Froman. Next year l will know whether this class lives up to my expectations and hopes. CLASS 1946: Workl Fight! Win! 'l'hese jubilant, high spirited graduates of 1946, with college and life staring them in the face, are out to earn the rewards of their work. Well n1ay they look back over this year with a fervent, Well done, ,467 ,loan Peterson as prexy of the Girls' Club, Craig McLennan heading the Boys' Club, and Hap Myers leading the Student Council have piloted these organizations to a complete realization of their goals. ln the field of athletics we find ,Iulie Apostolou, Clyde Glassman, Dick Koefod, Dave Lanphere, Craig lVleLennan, Phil Miller, Johnny Parsons and many others. The Kuay Weekly editors were Mark Sullivan, Ann Theg, and Betty W'oodworth and the Grizzly was edited by Sonia Childs and associates. Charles Stasney, Richard Moody, and Ann Theg placed in the state United States History contest. 'l'l1ey won a fifty dollar cheek which was invested in a set of history encyclopedias for the library. Charles also placed eighth in the national contest. Soon we part. Wllat we say, what we do, and where we go--time holds the Sl'Cft't.
