Toot Dahlberg, Rosemary McLean, Carol Hanson, Ioan Scherenzel, Norma and Donna Sherer, the memories of many a Monday night in the elevators of Fredericlds, where high school boys and girls worked and whiled away the long winter days . . . Bill Bennett, the laughs of many a Bennett-styled gag . . . Don Usher, the stacatto clatter of the Night Editors' typewriter . . . In conelufiwz.' We of 1945 wish to leave behind, with a tinge of teen-age nostalgia, the spirit of an era that will haunt the hallowed halls of Hilltop High for many a year . . . the Spirit of the Grizzly. It means standing up for the kickoff, hollering until your throat feels like a piece of torn sand- paper . , . and then hollering some more. It means trudging wearily back up the hill, tired, jubilant over victory, dejected, but anxiously awaiting the next contest with a Try to keep me down look in defeat. It means music and laughter and mixers, crowds and plays and clapping, assemblies and algebra and annuals, work and fight and win. . . . A maze of chemistry, fun and cokes, with the spirit that made the oldesters gasp --we lived in that world, we loved it and now we leave it to you. Don't let us down, don't let the Grizzly Spirit down. THE CLASS or N1N1:TnuN HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE. JESSE MARV JACK JIM CHUCK 1
