We had no fear of this hap- pening on our voyage, for the Com- mercial department, with Leonard Raasch as head businessman, kept the division well regulated. Mr. J. M. Gressly, with his well- trained office workers, spent many hours turning out tests, units, and various papers for eighty-two other teachers. The retail selling classes, under the direction of Miss Marion Candee, gained practical experience by work- ing in different stores, thus getting a good start towards the distant shore of success. Rah l-lE job of decorating the ship this year fell to a competent group of students under the direction of Miss Clara Rush and Miss Sarah Sears. Besides making all the post- ers in the halls, the artists have formed an Art Guild where they pursue their calling in var- ious activities such as sketch- ing parties, club speakers, and extra classroom work which gave the club the reputation of one of the most active in school.
