It was a success . . . we hoped it was a sample of the great successes to come. Eagerly we searched our program, the Kuay, for mention of our names and

the namcs of our classmates anxlously we wanted untll the day when our roles ln the cast would be placed at the top of the lust nnstead of at the bottom Mnxers theater partles meetnngs entertainments all needed speclal dlrectlon Stage hands directors call gurls and prompters were needed to spur us on to our final bug performance To full thes Important posstnons we elected Ray Segole Cather une Stolle Juanita Walker Margaret Ross and Bob Klldall They praised and scolded worked and planned to help us fund our places In the great show that was under way Already we found that our class was of some Importance In school affalrs felt that we really belonged that we had some defunute place to full We cheered at the football games because our own Ray Segale was flghtung for the Alma Mater we attended the Kuay Kapers to support Jerry Appy and Bob Hughes we rooted for the base ball team In honor of Bob Johnson we were part of the cast' Hours of studyung successes and failures praises and rebukes whale we strove toward our goal stardom Then came the dress rehearsal the reward of long practice the test of Stapleton Hank Ketcham Jean Houlette and George Powers Later on they were replaced by thelr stand lns Catherlne Stolle Peggy Slater Rosemary Well Bob Hughes and Bull Staplet n COMMENCEMENT SPEAKERS Je y Appy Nelle O Co o Ma ga et Ea dley B b M Ike Q .
