This year many students will pass out of our halls and into universities and the business world. Our teachers, however, remain to assist and to guide the lives of the students who are continually coming and going. They have prepared a sound foundation upon which our lives are built, and in years to come we will always look back and thank them for their leadership. Due to the untiring work of our principal, Otto L. Luther, and his com- petent assistants, busses were provided for the benefit of the students living in the Magnolia, Lawton and lnterbay districts. ln the short time that they have been in use these busses have proved very valuable to the school as well as to the students who use them. During the school year of i935-36, the maximum number of students attending Queen Anne was l888. l-lowever, during the current year there was an increase of two hundred seventy-two students, thus raising the maximum to Zl 60. Our teachers are to be thanked for their efficient adaptation made to this great increase. Because of the enlarged enrollment this year many other changes had to be made in our school life. A system of double assemblies was introduced, one-half of the student body attended an assembly while the other half was in class, and vice versa. The plan of having three lunch periods was reestab- lished, it had been discontinued in l934. Many new 7 340 classes were orga- nized, these were especially for the benefit of the students who transferred from Lincoln, because their first bus arrived at Queen Anne every morning at 7 130. Certainly these aids to the smooth and efficient running of our school so well applied by this staff of men and women thoroughly trained in the teach- ing arts are definitely responsible for our school life's success and happiness. r --JANE CRIDDLE ft WA ll, llx will U v V0 X ,.'i ll ll i if l l rc T ' ,lil Aw lf' yiil .J N g XT. i NX ff' Ugg ' W Al il CXJ Ny, lil A V 3 iff' 1 jxylk N I, ll iill QQ. fi! lx lv l Q K ji .X df X' 421 il A .X X.
