Page 16 Q16 Jena URING the last year there have been some changes and alterations at Queen Anne. Some of the faculty have left while new members have been added. The improvements in the school plant consist mostly of the work done by the P.W.A. One new course has been adopted and will be a part of the curriculum when school opens next fall. We are sorry to say goodbye to Miss Hooper, who passed away during the school year, to Miss Judith Whalen, who is getting married, to Mr. Haroldson, who is Hnishing his first year at Queen Anne and has been transferred to Roosevelt High as head coach, we also have missed Miss Camozzi, who is on leave of absence. Although we have lost some of our regular teachers, we wish to extend a hearty welcome to the new faculty members, who are Mrs. Mae Bloss, Mrs. Margaret Hall and Madame Mar- guerite Neal. The P.W.A. workers have added much to the cheerfulness of the interior of the building, having repainted and kalsomined many of the rooms and halls. The new course to be added is called Northwest Industries and is a study of the industries, resources and potentialities of this part of the country. Field trips will be part of the course. The maximum number of students belonging at Queen Anne during the 1933-34 school year was 1929. The maximum number belonging for the current school year was 1889. The student body is grateful to the faculty and wishes to thank them for their efforts to make our school life a success. XVILLARD O. BAKER-University of Washingto-n, l M.
