It is composed of members from the entire student body under the capable supervision of Sister M. Concor- dia, RN., HA., and most efficient direction of Eileen Shelly and Pamela Donovan. The happy choristers have lifted many a heavy heart during the Christmas Season as they carol from floor to floor through the hospital, and Christmas morning is high- lighted by their harmonious strains as they sing the High Mass. They are also present forthe capping ceremony, the Easter Sunday Mass, and the May Crowning. As with everything worth while, a few sac- rifices are necessary. livery effort put forth has been deeply appreciated, and may they carry on the good work in the future. AWAY FROM HoMi37'! 6LI'LCfll:5 mend Three days on the student calendar were and are extremely prominent in the minds and hearts of the student nurses. The days of retreat have left a mark, an eternal imprint, on the souls of the students who seriously and conscientiously partook of the spiritual benefits offered. The retreat enabled us to withdraw for a short while from our daily routine in order to retrieve and evaluate the teachings of our Savior and to apply the wise instructions offered by the retreat master to ourselves. An expression of gratitude is extended to Fr. Leander for his wise choice of topics for discus- sion. Tlie impressive and intelligent manner in which the talks were delivered will reverherate through our minds for a long time. The Sisters deserve much appreciation for the wonderful Communion breakfast which they served us at the conclusion of the retreat. The graduates will long rememher these hours spent with one an- other in devotion to God during the days of retreat. Heaven, our ultimate aim, is not difiicult to obtain if we pray and have faith in the Mercy of God.
