The Sodalists, 3Com- panions of Mary, strive to honor Mary by imitation of her virtues and to this end the various projects are directed. Monthly meetings in the auditorium with Father Charles and Sister Hedwig on hand to offer advice, are punctuated by guest speakers. Activities of the year to rememher are the reception of new Sodalists, preparation of Christmas baskets, First Friday Mass in uniform, the Sodality Forum with other College Sodalities, the annual retreat and breakfast, and, finally, the May Crowning which highlights and draws to a close the year's activities. The Council, composed of president, vice president, secretary, treasurer. and social chairman, sets standards for the entire school. Meetings are held once a month to consider the Constitution, Library, and other pertinent nlatters. The aim is to help other students fit into the life at Queens and to raise standards of wrong-doers. Demcrits given to a student are not a punishment hut a means of helping her to improve her conduct. The organization controls student actions through stu- dent participation in government.
