Albana and Sister M. Consalata, but also because it affords an ideal place for the stu- dents to get together and exchange the latest word. A friendly smile always greets the stu- dent as she approaches the cafeteria style serving table where Mrs. Mary Grayson assists her in selecting a balanced meal. Forty-six Sanfa Ma Cgnic Every student looks forward to the oppor- tunity of affiliating with the Santa Rita Clinic. Miss Moore, the able supervisor, also takes the added responsibility of guiding the stu- dent in her relationship with the out-patient. The Clinic's many departments include spec- ialties such as the Well Baby Clinic and Psy- chiatric Clinic, two important phases of public health which have become of prime importance during the last decade. This foretaste of clin- ical experience has decided many a student as to her future career. ,Zabel fried Shouts, and cries of laughter, in one con- fused roar descend the stairs to engulf the halls below, announcing the presence of our pediatric ward. With a half smile and fist in eye he tries hard to ube a little mana' and you suddenly find yourself responding to his brave spirit, realizing that you are taking over for Mom and Dad. The students seem to acquire some of Sister M. Anella's zeal, understanding wisdom, and spirit of continual nursing care at the bedside of each youngster.

loera fin? 00m Students look forward to a service in the operating room with a feeling of interming- ling joy and fear. The first of her ten weeks Sally Student spends in the utility room. She then advances to the MT and A room and later to uminorsn. The first 'amajorn scrub constitutes a great mental strain on poor Sally, but by the time her tenth week rolls around she finds herself quite efficient. Sister M. Lena, PLN., HS., is the ever busy Supervisor of this department. Wkgltf lui? As the shades of night have fallen, the stu- dent nurse receives one of her most interesting services-Night Duty. At this particular time the student has a chance to show her manage- ment and nursing skill. In her hands she holds the fate of her patients, hence her tasks must be skillfully accomplished. Under the kind and gentle supervision of Sister M. Geraldine, RN., lVl.S., the student receives assurance that one is there who can help and advise her in times of need. MP5 Qing Thirty little cribs all in a row, thirty little mouths to be fedg and thirty infants to be bathed. This is the situation met in the nursery by the unsuspecting student nurse who ugave up early marriage for a career. Each obstet- rical floor has two well equipped, eliiciently run unewborn nurseriesw. The special pride of the students is the Premature nursery, which was partly furnished by the Student Body.
