Timidly, we roamed from room to roomf- nurses to our left, nurses to our right, one stripe, two stripes, three stripes-Do we salute them! l ? A light flashes and two seared HProbies', stand outside the door debating on who is to answer it. Srcovn Row: Bette Compton, Mary Easley, Patricia Wilson, Dorcas Engle, Rita Ries, Alice Powers, Agnes Renzi, Margaret Prummer. Liniom That long anticipated day and we start our surgery service. After weeks of instruction and observation, we find ourselves assigned to our first Hmajorn. Come 7:00 A.lVl. and timidly we warn our circulating nurse of the storm. . . Doctor makes his entrance and eagerly we run for the gown, then gloves, not realizing that a towel and powder would eliminate a re-gloving ten minutes later. The surgery is finally on its way and at the call for askin towels . our little scrub nurse is found, rip- ping out the cellophane between the layers. Nylon-OOM on a 'astraightw is flung across the mayo stand accompanied by a holder. At last, the patient is on the way down when a sudden crash occurs and we find the doctor and scrub nurse on their knees, picking up the remains of the Mayo stand. Ah, Yes! A little time and we will ably adhere to that latest marker . . . MQUIETU. JUNIOR SNAPS Twenty-Jive
