Dressed in long beige print dresses, the girls in the High School Chorus entertained us with excerpts from Funny Girl and went on to sing for the local Kawanis and Lions' Clubs. Then there was Connie Sheehan's l-losanna from Jesus Christ Superstar and her poignant God Bless America at the homecoming ceremonies. The Folk Chorus members were dressed in fine style, too, but we remember most their songs. It's Academic M B S S IIIIANTH-n David Shute and fellow team members James O'Rourke and Mike Walsh are ecstatic over Quantico's first win. Standing in back are host, Mr. Mac McGarry, Ms. Berthe Schuchat, and Mrs. Becky Butler. What Do 6'Market,' and 'tYard Have in Common? After many hours of drilling with questions from every imaginable field, the Quantico team was ready 5 to meet Osbourn Park and Suitland High Schools. That first round proved victorious and a cash prize was won. The next show put Quantico against Mont- gomery Blair and Duval High Schools. Quantico came in second then. The whole experience was intellec- tually challenging. It was a good year! Now you've had time to answer the question above which David Shllte tackled on the first Sl'lOW.
