The Activity Period was created at the beginning of the school year for the organization of clubs and the presentation of assemblies. Members of the Junior Honor Society present a special assembly: Ann Tabor, Marian Hook, D, D. Burke, Anita Wyman, Lewyn Jobe, Edia Juan Cummings, John Hamilton, Betty Rudisil, Richard Hammond and Marvin Black. Sherry Adams, Norma Glover, Horrace Hatcher, Frances Hamrick and Barbara Sims in the One-Act Play Club's production of Nobody Sleeps.
