CLASS It was only yesterday that we entered the doors of Q. H. S. Some of us were new and probably a little afraid as we timidly walked down the halls for the first time. We could see some of our number going into wrong classrooms, others be- ing lost, and still others, who were acquainted with this school system, having no diffi- culties at all. Nevertheless we soon settled down to our studies and became acquainted with the students and with the pa- tient faculty, who helped to guide us for our next four years. Let us look back and review some of the incidents that took place and the things we accomplished during our high school days. lt was l94l when the class of '45 was organized for the first time. We had a wonderful time that year. There were football, hockey, basketball, and baseball games, plays, and other entertainments which we enjoyed. This life seemed so different from that of the past. Our first campaign fbaseballl we won, and this gave us the first sum of money for our treasury. We can also remember that beautiful Flpril morning when the whole class piled into Le-vy's buses and went to Phil- adelphia to spend the day. Mr. Buck was taking us to the Franklin Institute. Qfter we had had our papa-da-sickles' and our ice-a-da-cream, we started our tour of the Institute Several boys walked around by themselves all day, having decided that they wanted to view the educational exhibits of the Institute without the in- terference of the fairer sey.
