Mrs. White, the Home Economics teacher, is sponsor of the Future Homemakers of America. The officers of the club are: President - Cindy Peters, Vice-President - Pam Greene, Secretary - Gail Steinburg, Treasurer - Karen Myers, Historian - Beth Berti. The F.H.A. is affiliated with the state and national F.H.A. chapters, and they attended the regional meeting at Keystone Oaks High School in October. F.H.A. has three goals: They are education, service, and social. The group has done a number of things this year. Some of them were: Bake Sales, favor-making, Mother's Day dinner for the member's moms, and a surprise Christmas Party for Mrs. White. The members of Gourmet Cooking risked fighting the battle of the waistline in order to test new methods of preparing food. Mr. Simpson and the future chefs wanted to learn how to make different, exciting dishes such as: Baked Alaska, Spinach Souffle, Shishkabob, Fettucini, Tempora, and many more exotic meals. Each student was to bring in one thing which was assigned to her and each was to have a specific iob to do. The members were pleased with the jobs they did and each had to admit that even the dirty dishes, pots, and pans were not enough to discourage them.

The Entertainer's Club is made up of future Broad- way starsl They rehearse long hours to produce enioyable shows for different benefits and once in a while, iust for the fun of it. Let me entertain you best describes their activities. ,

This year's Chess Club didn't have enough members to hold a championship chess tourna- ment, but the members did have an enioyable time on Thursdays meeting to see who could be King for a Day. They hope to polish up their game until next year,when they shall again challenge the Junior High to another meet. ., Y --W.. , ., Q-Q.,-wsxw
