American Field Service This year we were privileged to host two foreign students. They were Maki Iwamoto from Japan and Maria Alice Nassif from Brazil. The function of the AFS Club is to assist the community in raising funds to sponsor our student abroad. AFS Club hosted other exchange students from the Pittsburgh area, in a weekend of fun during the month of March. At that time the annual AFS show was presented. This year, for the first time students participated in the program. We welcome Maria and Maki, and hope they enioyed their stay with us. Our school's student government revolves around four boards. They are lclackwise starting in the upper leftl Service, Curriculum, Activity, and Grievance. Each board has a specific iob. Service Board provides for the needs of the school: They decorate the tree at Christmas time and help during Open House. Curriculum Board pertains to matters of school policy. The Activity Board set up and arrange the clubs of the student body. Grievance Board gives the student a chance to express himself.
