Becoming a member of the Varsity Club is the goal of all Quaker Valley athletes. Membership is awarded upon earning two letters in any one sport or participating in a sport for three consecutive years. Every member of the Varsity Club will receive a varsity jacket during his senior year if he has sold a designated number of boosters and participated in Varsity Club sponsored activities. Karen Wood, crowned this year's football queen at the Homecoming Game, was joined by Vicki Koster, junior attendantg and Barbie Byrd, sophomore attendant. Qs N? The building of a salesman begins with a solid education and the creative help of Mr. Peluso and The Distributive Education Club of America, D.E.C.A. Their main activities revolve around com- peting with other D.E. students from Allegheny County in contests and decorating a display Window with articles which they have constructed. This newly formed club enables it's members to improve their prowess at volleyball and in the use of gymnastic apparatus. Under the direction of Miss Branney and Mrs. Olinger, the girls have an op- portunity to use their pent-up energy while socializing with their classmates. D.E.C.A.- olleyball
