Before the 1967-1968 school year was over, the Quaker Quill ceased to be printed in the Sewickley Herald. It became a separate newspaper, printed by the Sewickley Printing Shop, Inc., and sold only in Quaker Valley Senior High School. The lirst issue was dedi- cated to the Class of l968. This year the Quill has further expanded its scope. Rather than being simply a newspaper, it is now an up-to-date commentary on movies, books, records and other topics of interest. The enthusiastic staff has worked hard to make their new endeavor a success. The unsung heroes of the stage, the stalwart men behind the scenes, these are the members of the stage crew. Under the leadership of their faculty sponsor, a real shaWman, the boys helped make this year's many stage productions successful. This year Desk Duty's delightfully dazzling dames set records in the rooms 108, 109, and 101 short distance sprints. The team also did Well in the two mile cross-building stamina run.
