Before the 1967-1968 school year was over, the Quaker Quill ceased to be printed in the Sewickley Herald. It became a separate newspaper, printed by the Sewickley Printing Shop, Inc., and sold only in Quaker Valley Senior High School. The lirst issue was dedi- cated to the Class of l968. This year the Quill has further expanded its scope. Rather than being simply a newspaper, it is now an up-to-date commentary on movies, books, records and other topics of interest. The enthusiastic staff has worked hard to make their new endeavor a success.
