Ks- Students possessing character, scholarship, leadership, and service gain membership in National Honor Society. To qualify for the highest honor of the school, a student must maintain an average of 3.0 and must be selected by two-thirds faculty vote. Thirty-two members of the Class of 1969 met these qualiiications and were elected to the Honor Society in May, 1968. Under the guidance of Mrs. Chantler, Art Club members worked diligently on entries in the Scholastic art exhibit and on individual projects. Group projects this year included a football, track, and baseball emblem, which will be added to the gym decor. Art Club membership was open to students having a special interest in the art field. They were chosen by their art work and a composition on their personal art interest. Meetings held every Tuesday evening enabled members to experiment in different media on their own time. Guest speakers also aided in giving the members a better knowledge of the vast art field. ational Honor Society-Art Club

Following tradition, the Quaker Quotes staff spent the year binding the memories of the '68-'69 school year together. Collecting the high points of the year, Quotes' representatives were seen with cameras in hand at sports events, spring activities, and other school gatherings. Guided by Mr. Maze, we, the Quotes' stall, have worked hard so that the graduating seniors of 1969 may take with them not only a diploma, but also a yearbook bound together with the memories of the past year.
