Only boys who have won a letter in a varsity sport are eligible for membership. A var- sity jacket is the ultimate goal of each member. To earn a jacket a boy must be a senior, must have received at least two letters in a varsity sport, must have sold a designated number of ath- letic booster subscriptions, and must have participated in all Varsity Club activities. The club's purpose is the promotion of interest and participation in sports at Q.V. Coach Nusskern served as sponsor again this year. 55 Varsity Club

Quaker Valley's girl athletes demonstrated their physical prowess this year in volleyball, basketball, bowling, softball, and track under the auspices of G.A.A., coached by Mrs. Dakota Olinger and Miss Shirley Stevens. Both intramurally and intermurally the girls faced tough competition and displayed line sportsmanship. In contests with other schools the victor's laurels most often rested on the Q.V.
