MN Under Mrs. White's direction, the girls of the Q.V. Junior Red Cross gave freely of them- selves doing volunteer work at Dixmont and filling Christmas boxes, making picture books, and packing friendship boxes for local hospital patients and underprivileged people at home and abroad. For the second time the group won the Parents' Magazine Youth Group Achieve- ment Award for outstanding community service. W,-N Vietnam and the American soldiers serving there were on all of our minds this year, but the only group at Q.V. to really do anything about the war was F.H.A., Future Home- makers of America, sponsored by Mrs. White. The F.H.A. girls sent friendship boxes to the G.I.'s overseas. They also presented a highly successful fashion show featuring clothes made and modeled by the members themselves, worked with the local P.T.A., and carried on a variety of service projects. llr., Red Crossg F.H.A.

The Stage Crew acted as the backstage backbone of our school productions during the '66- '67 season. The boys provided scenery, props, and lighting for plays, band and choral pro- grams, and several special assemblies. Pictured are Jim Sacco, Glenn Crumm, Mark Nuss- kern, Rick Palmer, Dan Zebroski, and Mr. Rhesa Shaw, faculty crew chief. Giving up their study halls, the library aides deserved much credit for their unselfish ser- vice to Miss Donaldson and the school at large. Kneeling in the picture above are Susan Spahr, Lorraine Skeba, Jill Amend, and Marie Burzese. Standing are Donna Manko, Marge Kotula, Denise Bendle, Donna Young, Linda Rice, Kathy Hopta, Jill Eisenhute, Gretchen Harrison, Nancy Astorino, Barb Zupcic, Donna Skrabut, Kathy Herbst, Fred Brenner, Bev Werner, Beth Riegel, Kathy Kerchner, Joan Iwler, Carol Dill, and Sharon Sutherland. Becky Riehl and Louise Zagorski are missing. Stage Crevvg Library Aides
