Dislikes: Fords, burned clutches, 3 27 82, telephone poles, hassles, the men, being towed, dizzy broads. Disco, Tom’s driving. “Spread out” “Hey, man . . .” “That’s wild” “Rie” Likes: Mark, Strawberries, M Ms, Bruce Springsteen, Mom, Dad, Wayne, friends. Mustangs, warm weather. Dislikes: Cold weather, being grounded, jelly in the peanut butter, getting up early, working on weekends. “Every man is after a white whale and when he finds it, it usually kills him. Unknown “Mattio”, “Matt”, “Italian Stallion” Likes: Graduations, girls, parties, scuba diving, good music, getting in trouble, beer, friends, the Stang II, concerts, US. Army, Hawaii, having money and being Italian. Dislikes: Two-faced people, homework, no money, no car, getting wood, moving back home after a good summer. “Let’s get into good trouble tonight, Brenda.” “Hey, Mr. Paula, can 1 go to the Senior area? I have no U.S. History today. Ok! Ok!!” “Long-haired hippy yippy (T.J.)” “Lo-ra” “Long you live And high you fly Smiles you give And tears you cry And all you touch And all you see Is all your life will ever be.” Pink Floyd Likes: Jon, my brother Todd, Connecticut, nonconformists, hugs, tea, Snow and Soave, happy clowns, unicycles and balloons, 10 23 82, faraway places, J. Geils, Pepsi pools, Sue-Mac and the Pit, E.T., New York City, art, Rolling Stones, storms, sunshine. Dislikes: Claustrophobia, gossip, ‘transportationlessness’, dripping-dry, loneliness, boredom, lying. “I wanna go to N.Y. sooooo bad!!!” “Good song . . .” “nothin’” “Meg”, “Mick” “The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.” “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Likes: Roses, sunrises, sunsets, blue eyes, the beach, the ‘Cars’, sleeping in, smiles, weekends. Tab and Doritos, dancing, laughing, log cabins, new snow, Christmas eve, fireplaces, spring, long walks on cool days, shamrocks, staying up late, true friends, turkey and stuffing, meeting people, payday, Devil Dogs, being excited, bare footin’, hugs, happy endings, summer of ’82, spending money, talking on the telephone. Dislikes: Mondays, diets, grey hair, nothing to do, jealousy, cold rainy days, snobs. “What’s up?” “Hi Ho!” Goals: To be happy and successful in whatever I choose to do. “Sue” “Cherish yesterday . . . dream tomorrow . . . live today.” Likes: Weekends, long walks, pizza, kittens, puppies, my dog, biking, rainbows, the first snowfall, flowers, reading, chocolate, Garfield Dislikes: Monday mornings, research papers, rainy days, exams, blushing, waiting, standardized tests, thunder storms, the bus. Goals: To live a long, happy, and successful life. “Billy”, “Goody”, “Hippy” “There’s a sucker born every minute!” Likes: Farming, Guernsey’s, overnight fairs, Chevy 4x4’s, John Deere, street Rods, football, motorcycles, fast cars, The International, Ski-doo’s, snow, blizzards, night riding, Atari with Chester. Dislikes: Holsteins, school, Chemistry goggles, notebooks, homework, horses, BS, people who can’t drive well, getting stuck, the red barn and its skunks, Latin. Goal: To be a self-made millionaire farmer, but be satisfied with anything. “Paul”, “Bull” “Do not follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.” Likes: Taking walks on warm windy days, monster mummy’s spaghetti and meatballs, strawberries, S.E.M., 10 9 82, rainbows, sunsets, loves my very best friend, going to Papa Gino’s with Laur, summer of 1982 at Hampton Beach, Mrs. Silvernail’s Theatre class, music, ‘Zac,’ being in silly moods. Dislikes: Watermelon, saying good-bye, getting up early, waiting, rainy days, being bored, learning to speak Spanish. “Hey Dude,” “Really,” “What do you want to do,” “Come on Laur” Goal: To succeed in the secretarial field. “Kar.”, “Dub”, “Dubba Raye”, “Ugly” “Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow, Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead, Just walk beside me and be my friend.” Likes: meeting new people, my family, being outdoors, animals, writing letters, being with my friends, Friday night drive-ins, going out with Deb, being happy, summer of 1982. Dislikes: Getting up in the morning, being told what to do, having to say no, fighting, being used, saying good-bye. Goals: To live a long life doing whatever 1 want and being happy. Susan E.
