QUASSIN REGIONAL M.C. MATERIALS LIBRARY DIVISION BARRE, MASS. OlQWf 5 As we, the Class of 1983, leave Quab- bin, it is with the realization that every- thing must have an end, but that the time spent here has played a key role in shaping our lives. Growth gained through the many facets of six years of learning has provided a firm foundation for our futures, whatever they may hold, and we are ready to move on to the world beyond high school. In retrospect, we will remember our last year at Quabbin both as a “famous final scene,” and as our preparation for what is yet to come. As we fulfill our individual dreams, we will make the transition from the secure to the unknown, using our ex- perience at Quabbin as the bridge that pro- vides a passage to the many challenges that lie ahead. 7 •i ’ -1 r if With unending patience and caring, Betty Ann Fargnoli has commanded the admira- tion of her students. By treating each of us as individuals, she has strengthened our self-esteem. Her enthusiasm for literature has enriched us all. By introducing us to the masters of literature, she has helped us to form our own personal philosophies. Her approach to teaching makes English interesting to everyone. With love and respect, The Class of 1983 dedicates this yearbook to her. 12 Since his arrival at Quabbin five years ago, Richard Stickle has shared with us his varied interests and boundless energy. As a teacher of both junior and senior high classes, he has displayed genuine concern for our growing process and has helped us to develop in the academic, as well as per- sonal aspects of our lives. Mr. Stickle has taught us, among other things, not to close our minds to what may lie in the future, and to respect the thoughts and speculations of those around us. In appreciation for his sincerity, his en- thusiasm in school and his devotion to students as both teacher and friend, we dedicate this yearbook to him. 13 The Class of 1983 would like to express its appreciation to our class advisor, Mr. Dennis Leblanc. Stepping into this position in our Freshman year, Mr. Leblanc helped to organize and bring our class together. Over the past four years, Mr. Leblanc has shown care and concern not only for the class as a whole, but also for each member of the class as an individual. His help and guidance have played an instrumental part in the many suc- cessful activities of our class. As we leave Quabbin we will always remember the help he has given us. 14 Y earbook Editors Yearbook Editors — Row 1: Debra Midura, Art Editor; Doug Prime, Photography Editor; Ann Bechan, Co-Editor-in Chief Row 2: Mark Raffier, Co-Editor-in-Chief; Tena Oullette, Sales Editor; Jenny Brandon, Co-Editor- in-Chief; Martha Bechan, Advertising Editor; Nancy Rochford, Typing Editor; Karen Rochford, Typing Editor.
