EXODUS 82 Quabbin Regional High School Barre, Mass. The Class of 1 982 dedicates its yearbook to Mr. Glenn Stratton, who has taught us the significance of current events in our lives. As we approach our graduation we begin to realize the impact of these issues on the world we are about to enter. With deep appreciation we thank you, Mr. Stratton, for your warmth and friendship, and for helping us to prepare for the greater society. 4 if 1 The Class of 1982 dedicates its yearbook to Mr. John Musante, ■w ho has shown us the role humanity’s past achievements and follies play in the trend of the future. Mr. Musante has never failed to remind us that Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. W ith wit and humor he has prepared us to bring an understanding of history to decisions we w ill make in the future. With deepest gratitude we thank you, Mr. Musante, for all you have taught us. 5 Headlines everyday announce events of significance in our lives. Contemporary affairs impjinge on us, affecting both small daily habits and our overall life design. Crowded busses, cutbacks in sports programs, and the restoration of a town bail affect us immediately. Energy resources, hazardous waste disposal and defense capabilities will have an impact on our future destinies. As we, the Class of 1 982, move on to assume leadership roles in the wider community, we will be obligated to understand the issues of the day so that we may make informed judgements. As concerned citizens we will participate in determining the direction of our world and in shaping the future for our children. This yearbook thus incorporates the history of our own class and the history of the community, state, and nation as it affects the Class of 1 982.
