QUABBIN REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM Sr. High Concert Chorus 83 84 85 Senior Bazaar 87 - 88 89 On September 27, 1971 a group of concerned students organized a strike in hopes of termin- ating the deteriorating educational climate at Quabbin. Though the Student Union ' s purpose of ending the said climate failed, it did make teachers and parents realize the bad deal the students of Quabbin were receiving. Beginning with apples, and ending with peanut butter and jam sandwiches, the Union provided the students with an ample food supply to continue the strike for a week, just long enough for the administration to realize the Union wasn ' t kid- ding around.
