To its students, it m€ans high school ' ' years spenf td$tfng new ideas, making new frifends, being involved and active, . and maturing through just being part of it all. To the -Class of 1968, a regional • . : • school means m ' uch more. How do wej th difSt graduating class of Quabbin Regional High School, look at our y r at f uabbin? Our year has been unusual. -Soifietimes, we wanted to hum the school song, and then realized that d song had not yet been written. Our year has been bfte of mixed emotions . We knew our past high school years were good. We accepted the idea that the present one could be just as ' goqd, and we anticipated a great future . J f ' J. - V Out ifear has had its difficulties. We wondered why fate chose to remove us ftonf e secure, the familiar, the predictable. The studies have been harder, and adjustments have not always come easy. w - Our year has had its joys. We crushed the giant of the ' ' past” on the basket- ball court. We knew the satisfaction of helping to start something that will not end after we leave. The 1968 Yearbook is the picture story of our year at Quabbin. It expresses the meaning of Quabbin to us. It shows that this year has been more th3n an experience in learning- -through its continual change and newness, it has been and experience in living!
