CLASS PROPHECY HStep right up, ladies and gentlemen, see the wonders of the world-- no other circus can offer the entertainment we will present. See the fat woman--the tall man, the fire breather--the strong man--the contortionist, and be sure to visit our fortune teller. See too, the miraculous feats performed by our' famed acrobatic company. Don't miss these and many other stupendous acts. Such we hear as we enter the gate of the circus of world-wide fame-- Holt and Holt, Inc. The barker was not onetof the Jones boys--but one of the Holt boysf-Bob to be specific. ' This spiel remains ringing in our ears as we walk around the lot. On our right, we see first the famous contortionist, Madam Two-Way Stretch. On closer observation, we see to our utter amazement, our- old friend of Pyote--Linda Lee Vaughn. We watch afew minutes, though we say nothing, as we do not want to interrupt the act. But she Ls good! Next on our right, we come to the tall man. Goodness He must be at least eight feet talll As we look up to see his face, though a slight hazy cloud surrounds his head, due to the altitude, we recognize--guess who--yep, Kenneth Pearson. My, how that boy has grown.I Traveling on around, the air becomes smoky. Looking to see the cause of this change in atmospheric conditions, we see HFlaming Fred, the Fire BreatherH doing his best to set the world ablaze. Once again we find ourselves obliged to peer through a light haze, and once again we are jolted by the fact that we know the guy 3 Yes, Flaming Fred turns out to be Joe Villalobos, of Quito wells fame. Ah, next we see the act without which no circus would be complete. Surrounded with dumb-bells and weights, the strong man stands. Ah, what a man! As we take a closer look, you will never guess who we discover, throwing his weight around. Dick Smith!! Recovering enough to continue on around the circus of tents, we come next to the fat woman--and she couldn't be more rightly named; for not one ounce less than 600 pounds does she weigh. She is laughing, and it does our old hearts good to hear her, for there is so much of her having a good time. On inspection, we all notice a slight resemblance to someone we used to know. Who? Why, bless my boots, if it isnit Donna Rae Merrell!! Well?!

CLASS PROPHECY The mysterious sounds of Oriental music comes to our ears and lures us to the next tent. Ah, here we have that wonderous one who can tell us at a glance what fate has in store for us. That seerof the future--the fortune teller. We go into her tent. She is sitting at atable behind a crystal ball. She gazes at us through a veil. As she speaks these immortal words, it Well, whatduya want? , we recognize gur old friend, Lila Lea McKenzie. That is the last of the side-shows and so we enter the big top in time for the first great performance of the evening. There in the center stands the ring master. He is all decked out in top hat, shiny riding breeches, black coat and boots; His voice comes to us announcing each act, a big, booming voice. There is something oddly familiar about it, and soon it dawns on us who our ring master is-- Don Price Hi The nextvact he announces is called The Flying Holts i, five of them. We are thrilled by their hair-raising flights through nothing but good solid air. The odd thing abclit the company is that three of them are under twelve years of age. Upon inquiry, we discover the most amazing thing. The two older ones are Charles and Lois Holt. And, the three kids are all their own!!! Yes, we were visiting Holt and Holt, Inc. in the year 1965, to find all the senior class of 49 banded together to give fun and joy to the world through the medium of a Circus.
