?ded 3M2 $2y There are two of our eight graduates who enrolled in the first grade together. They are Genevia Ashburn and Frank Yarborough. Jeanie Jachne was married during her senior year but continued to go to school. Nyla Jean Hutchison has attended Pyote School for nine years; Marie West, five years; Alice Ralston, two years; Doris Spencer, one year; Jeanie Jachne, two years; Chester Rainbolt, two years; Frank Yarborough, twelve years, and Genevia Ashburn, eleven years. Chester Rainbolt and Frank Yarborough have both been outstanding in football, basketball and track. Our sponsors who have been so helpful these last four years are; Freshman, Miss Newman, Sophomore, Mr. Chrane, Junior, Mr. Hughes, Senior, Mr. Albro. We are happy to have had these teachers for our Sponsors during our high school xdays. Senior members of the volieYball team are, Marie West, Alice Ralston, Genevia Ashburn and Jeanie Jachne. As we approach Graduation Day, we look back over our school days with both joy and regret, joy that we have at- tained our goal and regret that we are leaving good ole Pyote School.

afoongg J7f0 7t: ?;?ZZ: ,A glance at the oards reveals the seniors in the year 1955. First, we see Chester Rainbolt sitting behind a plastic deak in a large office building. On the door is a freshly painted sign Are You Lonely? - If So, Let Me Help You. The door opens and in walks Leland Rainbolt, Junior of '46-'47, who desires help in solving his problems. Chester has devoted his life to make others happy. ' Next, we see Marie west in a schor room in New York City. Marie is explaining a shorthand character to Geraldine North, Junior of '46e'47. Marie is the only old-maid teacher of N. Y. High, although She is waiting for a reply from Chester Rainbolt for a likely prOSpect. The cards show a newly opened hang-out, Joe's Place. Coming closer we hear Alice Ralston and her all-girl band beating out the still famous Boogie Woogie. Alice keeps time by stomping her foot. In the near future we see Buster Yafbrough as a great track star. At last Kenneth Bearden has been beaten in the mile run. Buster beat him by five laps to become the new World's Champion. Next, we see Nyla Jean Hutchison. Nyla, being fond of sail- ors,worked hard to reach the goal to be a nurse in the Hawaiian Islands. Now we see her sitting under a large Palm tree with the book, How to Make Successful X.Rays by Tetens, lying in front of her. Doris Spender comes into view as a famous actress. Her next pictures, Gone With the chlone is now in progress. In this picture Doris plays the part of a girl who travels half way across the world to get a pair of nylons. Genevia Ashburn is now playing professional volleyball. With a team of her own, Genevia, better known as Pete , is now ready to play Buena Vista. Then we see the last Senior, but not at all the least; Jeanie Beddingfield, as editor of a large publishing company. With the experience gained from editing this school yearbook she worked her way from an office girl to editor of the Podunk Publishing House.
