There are two out of'seven'graduates Who en- rolled in school tOgether in the first grade. They are Kenneth Milton Bearden, and Anita L. North. Ann Smith and Mary Lucille Holt; were married during thei; senior year but did not continue to go to school. Senior bqys who have been outstanding.football gnayers are: Kenneth.Bearden, Captain; Tommy Bedd- ingfield, Co-Captein. .Others on the team are: WUckey Stewart, Severino Villalobos, Bobby Moody, Johnny Fargher, Harvey Wiley, and Vernon Greenlee. Basketball has been a very popular sport with the boys. Kenneth.Bearden, Tommy Beddingfield, sene iors; Bobby Moody, Vernon Greenlee, Harvey Wiley, Severino Villaldbos, and Donald Price, make up the team of 1945-46. We give our thanks to the sponsors who have been so patient these last four years. 'They are: Freshman, Miss Emily Newman; Sophomore, Mr. Wright Chrane; Junior, Miss Deomie Lancaster; Senior, Mrs. , J. P. Strayhorn. We are indeed happy to have had these teachers for our sponsors during our high ' school daYs. Members of the Volley Ball team are: 'Murl Smith, Captain; Anita L. North, seniors. Others of the team are: -Genevia Ashburn, Co-Captain; Marie L. West, Elgene Bright, Mona R. Bearden, Jean Jachne, and Francis Villalobos. We have had much success winning in tennis. The school has won many trophies. The winningquy tennis player is Kenneth Bearden, and the winning girl tennis player is Anita North,.both-seniors. Wright Chrane slowly turns the magic ball into the future year of 1965. He sees dimly at first, and then mere clearly a new magazine titled, The Pyote Even- ing Post, which is dated march 8, 1965. . Clearly now he sees Terry Tubbs, sensation of 1965, re- vealing her fame to the new magazine. Terry won the Academy Award of the current year for her great performance in Our Love so Great. .Her leading man, a130 winning fame as a great actor, was none other than Clayton Hinshaw. As ur. Chrane turns through the book a picture is re- vealed of the famous scientist, Thomas Beddingfield. Thomas, through years of patience and hard work, has just been awarded the Nobel prize for his new treatment of the anemic; In his research work he discovered, and saved the life of a hobo,. 1 it 1 l Suddenly the picture changes and Anita Fowler, nee North, jumps into view.' She is as active as when in school.' She is now in the cOWpen taking snapshots of Melvin Junior and little sister Louise. Next is seen Kenneth Bearden. Kenneth is a taxidermist and really enjoys stuffing animals. He is still bragging as usual, which is his favorite past-time. I In the garden of a neat little house in the suourn of a distant city, stands Charlene and Vernon Greenlee. Each have a hoe and are very busy cultivating a patch of turnips. As the magic ball slowly turns and the last page of the magazine is revealed, mr. Chrane sees the last senior of the everyone else has left foot prints in the sands of time, Murl leaves one continuous trail as she stumbles through the years. ' 1 Mr. Chrane smiles and wonders if these graduates of Pyote High are aWare of the fact that he is still superin- tendent.
