I1 Q u S t r i a 1 The Industrial Arts department provided many oppor- tunities for students wishing to enter the world of craftsmanship. In metal shop students learned how to cast metals and work with sheet metal. In machine shop they learned how to work with wrought iron. ln woodshop students learned to use many types of woodworking machinery as they worked in furniture and Cabinet construction. In auto shop students studied engine maintenance and repair. Advanced students could also take a vocational auto shop program. Drafting and architecture classes were also offered.
