We are very fortunate in Puyallup High School to at lost have a complete high school. We are grateful to the administra- tion, the school board, and the community for the excellent new facilities that are available for our use this year. In addition to the new library-science building, the swimming pool, and the metal shop we have a faculty workroom, nurses quarters, coun- selors' offices, and a remodeled high school office. These have all added to our oppor- tunity to further serve the needs of our stu- dents so that they may receive a better edu- cation. With the fine faculty and the excel- lent student body that we have, I feel sure that this goal is being accomplished. DON HARTUNG Principal ln December of 1963 Mr. James Turman former vice-prin- cipol took an extended leave of absence from Puyallup High School to work toward his Doctorate Degree at Colorado Stoe College ot Greely, Colorado. His present plans are to return to Puyallup in the fall of 1965. Mr. Turman served as vice-principal of Puyallup High School for seven and one-half years. Before turning to his iob as vice-principal he taught social studies, health, and physical education. lt is a real privilege to congratulate the Puyallup High School student body on another successful school year. This annual will become an accurate pictorial history of your high school days. The pleasures and treasures you receive from your education may not be apparent immediately, but it is our hope thot you look back on your high school education with fond memories. h To the class of 1964 we extend our heartiest congratula- tions upon your graduation.
