5 JU -1 b I Cl SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Jerry Van Pevenage president Martin Bradfield vice president Betts Derkland secretary and Anita Harris yell leader Four Years Of Fun Come To An End After traveling a long and winding road the class of '960 fortified with ambition, plans, successes, failures, and new hopes, has laid another layer of experience on the perpetually ascending wall. As eager freshmen the class began its memorable iourney. To lead them on their way they chose Jerry Van Pevenage, president, .lim Wilson, vice-president, Bob Scheyer, secreary, and Judy Hotz, yell-leader. They won third place in the stunt assembly with Wide, Wide World, and lost to the sophomores for a fourth place in the season ticket drive. The year ended with the presentation of their frolic La Fiesta Mexicana. We're the class that's on the go, I-9-6-O was selected as their class yell to fol- 'ow them through their years at P.H.S. As sophomores they placed second in the season ticket drive and their stunt Hansel and Gretel brought them a second in the stunt assembly. Jerry Van Pevenage, president, Val Stone, vice-president, Sue Geiger, secretary, and Anita Harris, yell-leader were chosen as class officers. Full of vim vigor and vitality as luniors they captured second place in the stunt assembly with their version of Peter and the Wolf. Exotica, their junior prom, proved to be a big success. Class officers were Jerry Van Peven- age, president, Joe Jansen, vice-president, Anne Lepley, secretary, and Martin Bradfield, yell-leader. Now as seniors they are nearing the end of their iourney. The road has been rough in places, but no one would have exchanged these past four years of fun and experience for anything. To guide them through their senior year, Jerry Van Pevenage was elected president, Martin Bradfield, vice-president, Betti Derkland, secretary, and Anita Harris, yell-leader. Two first places were cap- tured by the senior class-one in the season ticket drive and the other in the stunt assembly. The winning stunt was South Pacific. To climax their exciting year, they presented an extremely successful senior ball, Club 60. As graduation neared, we came to a crossroad. Every- one chose a different path to follow into the future, and now what we are to be we are becoming.
