Mathematics Opens New World For Explaunung a math problem to Glen Crum left and Stanley Moe us Howard Huckey Students advancung to college were offered an untro ductory college math course taught by Glen Crum He also was un charge of the Auduo Vusual Educatuonal Program and durector of Adult Educatuon and summer school Thus summer Mr Crum wull be kept busy creatung Puyallup Hugh Schools furst foreugn language laboratory Graphs theoroms and equatuons are all a part of the three most advanced math courses offered at Puyal lup geometry advanced algebra and college math all taught by Howard Huckey Besudes hus teachung dutues Mr Huckey was advusor to the sophomore class and the foreugn student protect The symbol of algebra throughout the world seems to be fx-+-yj but un some combunatuons ut can be quute challengung to the student Algebra geometry and basuc math were taught by Stanley Moe Students From Freshmen To Seniors Mathematucs teachers puctured above are Muruam Cleveland Don Wulson and Art Larson The constructuon of congruent truangles to Chrustmas decoratuons was all a part of the program taught by Maruam Cleveland geometry and algebra unstructor Muss Cleveland was also un charge of the season tuckets whuch along wuth her teachung dutues made a very full schedule Art Larson taught classes of basrc math algebra and con sumer math Besudes beung un charge of attendance Mr Larson coached football and track teams advused the uunuor class and refereed freshmen basketball games lntendung to umprove the aruthmetuc skulls of hus students was Don Wulson un hus classes of algebra and advanced algebra The Vukung Knught and the freshman class were under the advusorshup of Mr Wulson Stanley Moe constructs a geometry problem for une of hus students
