TWO GIRLS, FOUR VOICES ASSEMBLIES ENTERTAIN MUSICAL COMEDY One of the first assemblies of the year featured the Visronairs and their musical comedy act This group which was affiliated with the Voice of Christian Youth appeared in several Tacoma schools in late October NEW SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERIES General Motors Preview ol Progress presents the latest news in science Demonstrations include the roaring of a miniature Jet engine stopping Pee Wee Hunts music with a human head and having a liquid come out ol a pop bottle in the form ol rubber Claudette and Jeanette Baker, sophomores. and their dummies entertain the students during the talent assembly. The ventriloquist act was only one of the features of Club PHS. Jim Van Sickle. master of ceremonies, also presented the Tri-Tones, a boys' trio: and dance band: the majorettesg and many other numbers.
