We're the class that makes the score, l-9-5-4! was the yell chosen by the class, and they did well for fresh- men by coming in third in the season ticket drive, their first competition with other classes. But they dropped to fourth for their stunt, o scene from a courtroom. May Daze was the name chosen for the frolic that spring, and members of the class looked promising in athletics. Bob Sherman served as first president of the class of l954, and working with him were, Bill Bearse, vice president, Mardell Mannie, secretary, and Norma Iverson, yell leader. While President Bill Bearse led the group as sopho- mores, Wizard of Oz brought the class third place in the stunt assembly, and Dreamer's Holiday was the class dance.
