5 SENIORS Pat Schwartze, Valedictoricin With a grade point average of 96.87 for her three senior high years, Pat Schwartze was announced as the 1954 Valedictorian. In addition to maintaining her grade average, she has been active in nonettes, band, orchestra, a cappella choir, Amica Tri-Hi-Y, Pep club, Latineers, Quill and Scroll, Honor society, Hi-Y council, and Future Teachers club. Pat is planning to attend the University of Washington to prepare tor teaching. HGNOR LIST Lois Hess, Salutatorian Receiving second place honors was Lois Hess, saluta- torian at the class of '54, Lois was also active in many outside activiites which included Honor society, of which she was president, Lotineers, orchestra, Quill and Scroll, Future Teachers club, of which she was a charter member, string quartet, Viking Ladies, and girls' club cabinet. The University ot Washington is her choice of schools ot higher learning and she is also planning on a teaching career.
