Newspaper Staff The 1966-67'Putnam County High School Newpaper Staff was sponsored by Mr. Ronald Moews . Julia Keller was named editor. Other members of the staff were Betty Ann Hall, Barb Nielsen, Cindy Billups, Bonnie Argu- bright, Elsie Hansen, Eileen Novak, Linda Serafini, Diane Eden, Diana Brown, Carolyn Parmenter, Ray Klein, Karen Bassi, Sheryl Moss, Carolyn Ehrhardt, Pam Pletsch, and Claire Piccinelli. The Newspaper was entitled PANTHER'S PROWL. It appeared in three newspaper every week: THE PUTNAM COUNTY REC- ORD, HENRY NEWS REPUBLICAN, and THE DAILY NEWS TRIBUNE . School events and activities, school calendar, and the senior spotlight were some of the things that were put into the newspaper. The purpose of the newspaper was to keep stu- dents, parents, and the general pub- lic informed on what was happening at Putnam County High School. 21

DQQQCUDUB-FUR The staff for the first Putnam County High School yearbook was chosen in the fall. Lynda Lenkaitis was editor, and our sponsor was Mrs. Mary Ann Link. The other members of the staff were Sheryl Moss, Cindy Greathouse, Linda Brown, Bob Novak, Walter Boyle, Gale Donini, Josie Eattoni, Rita Colby, Bonnie Day, jackie Epley, and Ginny Wolf. Late in the fall, several members of the staff at- tended a yearbook workshop at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. There they learned the funda- mentals of yearbook editing. The staff stayed one night each Week to work on the yearbook, and they finished the final deadline on June 5 The students received their yearbooks ata yearbook- signing-party held in August. 20
