as the Patriots swung into perspective. We kicked off sports year with high hopes. The newspapers didn't give us much credit. Other schools looked on us as, Well, they have a football team, but we showed them differently. Coach Little said, We look good, and we did. We executed the plays well. The team was really clicking, they were Patriots. Even in the middle of the year, when things were looking up for the basket- ball team, people would say, They have a basketball team? But players like Keith Journey and Barry Brown and the rest of the guys told them differently. Toward the end of the year the track team was having really hard work-outs. But let's not forget the girls who were into softball, track, .ltr 1.1 and volleyball. And this was all for a cause, not just for winning a match A ,Qi or holding our opponents scoreless. It was for being a Patriot and being one and being together. 11

A SPARK IS ALL IT TAKES and we found it came not only in this bonfire but in our hearts. lt was the night before the game with Putnam City and the Psychology Club sponsored the P.C. West Rally against the Pirates. lt was really far out. We built a whole bunch of pyramids and had a football gameat Bethany Park which lasted past syundown.
