HCJLIR GGAL IS IN SIGHT This year the 1974-75 football homecoming was over as quickly as it had arrived. Each class searched for it's float theme and of course, the football players were looking for a victory. Everything started at the parking lot of the First Baptist Church in Bethany, or did it? lt really started with a feeling, an emotion, someone wanting to make a difference. Yes, our goal was in sight and everyone worked together and we were a team. A funny thing happened we realized that home- coming isn't only a football team, but being a kid that loves his school. We had a parade that traveled through downtown Bethany and told others how we felt about our school. This year we made the difference. We lost the football game but we came closer to finding that link that keeps us together. 1. Kevin McAfee, gg junior, entertains f students during the homecoming assembly as as well as the parade. coming queen, Vicki Copper, senior, and Mrs. Ame Gorena are excited because West's 14-0 lead over PC at halftime. 3. Long hours were put in the class members during the weeks preceding homecoming. 4. Seniors placed first for the third straight year as they captured winner of the float competition. 5. Queen Marilyn Lundeen is crowned by John Cherry during the homecoming halftime ceremonies. 6. Band members Terry Hullett, James Edmonds, Don Templeman, Steve Cordes, David Brackett, Steve Campbell keep in step during the homecoming parade through downtown Bethany.
