X-ESQQJRNFQS 'S' ' .., W if X N, Sing songs Meet friends Join the new life Each of us were as individual as night and day. We each expressed ourselves differently, even in our beliefs. Not all of us were overly religious, hut we were proud of it when we were. Our religious beliefs didnlt end on Sunday nights but carried on through the week in everything we did. Each morning we took time out to start the day by listening to the morning inspiration. Chapel was always there to give us a midweek church lesson. Where did we go to sing songs and meet people and relate it all to God in one sitting? Young Life. Once a week we met with friends and discussed our religious ideas and problems. We combined with West to complete a very successful year with God. Our trip to Monarch over Christmas could only be described as excellence in the snow. It was a great way for us to escape from school for a peaceful week in Cod's winter wonderland. Young Life 21

Perhapf we didn't stop to question who sponsored the Christmas Dance, who helped out with the cancer drives, and who honored the teachers for their length of service. lf we had, we would have come up with the same answer every time: PTA-X. When friends heeame the victims of the dreaded disease, we decided to fight fire with tire and cancer with money. This hard earned money was donated to Cancer Research to try to help those people who have to work hard at living from one day to the next. flaneer and courage seem to go together. but someday. with our help, the latter will defeat the first. 541 Stem auf P GAR AGES At e lfIVClt lfi' lil 5tlt.andf'l 'Wt UTY tlS,,Fff'
