Song, dance, strip-tease highlight 'It's Your Thing' Individuality was expressed by participants of the annual Student Council sponsored talent show. This year's theme was It's Your Thing. Singing acts dominated the show. UThis is an Openingw was performed by a girls, ensemble which also performed uStep into the Sunshine . Popular songs such as 'GO Bless the Lord, My Soul and Don,t Rain on My Paradei' were presented. On the humorous side there was a not so risque strip-tease act and two interpts. Selections from both the classical and modern field of piano were played. A medley of Beatle hits was done on the guitar and a banjo-guitar duo presented the theme from uDeliverance,'. A modern song-dance routine and a tap dance along with a rock band completed the individual talent. The finale was composed of the entire cast in Make Your Own Kind of Musicv. 1. UNUSUAL strip tease act is per- formed by senior Paula Tanner to the music of I Left My Heart in San Francisco . 2. MELODIC sounds of two of the Beatle's greatest hits are played by Sam Hyden. 3. IMITATION of Bill Cosby's 'tChicken Heart is portrayed by Ray Ackerman 4. HTHIS is an Opening and Step into the Sunshine is sung by an ensemble. 5. THEME song from Deliverance is strurnmed by Tony Haynie and Bill Perry 6. FINALE, Make Your Own Kind oi Music , is sung by Denise Reinking, Lee Hickam, Tracy Thweat and Tami Tibbits Talent Show 29
